I am in a similiar situation. I cannot add any plants to the "My Garden" page of the app.  I was able to delete the sweet corn. (I am working with herbs for time being.)  The "+" button appears on the upper right part of the "plants" page, the "to do list" page, and the "journal" page, but not on the "My Garden" page.

I'll see what I can find.

We have standardized on your app, but are having one issue. The sync wil work fine with regular expenditures, but not with balance transfers (like from Savings to Chequing). Thesofteare just seems to hang up and wait forever.

Let me know if you have any suggestions or would like more information.

Long time user, great app.

I do have a request, that may hopefully be a relatively easy one - it would be great to have the ability to input Earnings/Spend that recur on a regular basis (ie salary, health insurance etc) rather than having to re-add them manually every time they recur.

Hey Jeff, I love your Gardening app.  I have a thought here that I think would be a great addition to your program.  A calendar. 
With a calendar, users would be able to graphically track their gardens.  The calendar should be big enough so that there would be room for little icons on the individual days.  There could be icons for: sowing, watering, transplanting, sprouting, harvesting, pruning, fertilizing, etc. 

I think this feature would be ideal and also very simple - which goes along with the overall feel of your program.  When you select a day, a screen opens up where you can select one of the above mentioned activities that you performed (watering, etc.) and also room for you to write a description. 

This would be perfect!!!  The more I think about it the more excited I get. 

The only problem I can see is that you would probably only be able to have 4 icons or so that display at the calendar level, otherwise they'll start overlapping or you'll have to make them too small.  I think watering is the most important because that is done daily in a lot of cases.  The other events could be user defined/selected.  If the user has lots of fruit trees, they'll want pruning and spraying (pesticides) as some of the quick-access icons.  But if the user is just a vegetable gardener, they would want transplanting, or sprouting instead.  Anyway, because there are so many events that could be on the calendar, there probably should be an "other" icon of some sort just to let the user know that something happened that day that's important so they can click on that day to see what it was. 


Alright, is that enough, or do you want more?  If you want more ideas, I'd be happy to brainstorm with you. 


I really hope you can incorporate this feature into your program.  It would revolutionize the industry (of course, because it was MY idea :-)

ps.  the strawberry days to harvest is 0.  It's a lot longer than that I think.

If you want to keep the data, then I would just add an "Adjustment" transaction to balance it back to zero.

Or you could export all your data and then reset the accounts in the app.

So, I'd like to be able to quickly and conveniently set the date range for data exports, and I'd like my setting to be sticky between sessions.  As I'm experimenting, trying to find *one* data export procedure that'll work, I've got to scroll through hundreds of days for *each* account. 

I like how you have the ending date default to NOW.  That's great.

But please let me set the beginning date of the data export to a date/time that is saved until I change it again.

And, while QIF seems to work for the accounts I've tried, the CSV and google docs exports seem to crash whenever there's an account that has more than a trivial number of transactions.

I've been happily using Accountr since July/August 2008, it's really one of the essentials, for me.  However, in the "nothing's perfect" category -

Please, please improve the interface and functionality for the data export.

I saw mention of the sync limit in another thread, does that have anything to do with a limit for data export?  Well, I want to export more than 500 transactions, if that sync limit setting is relevant for data export to CSV, QIF, and google docs.

But - the app crashes on larger accounts.  It seems that QIF export is the most robust, but that's also the one I can't really use.  So, for a particular account, I can export to QIF, but the app crashes when trying CSV or google docs exports.

The date range setting is very frustrating, especially when you're trying every export method just to get your data out of the phone.

Please allow a set and save first date for the data range, or at least do it by MMM-YYYY instead of having to scroll through 365+(!) days for every export.

And now something seems to be goofed up in this forum software - I can't type in the window . . .  guess I'll reply to this post.

I use this app to keep track of what I get paid by many customers. Each customer is set up as an account and the app keeps a total of what each customer has paid me. What I want to do is reset each customers balance they have paid me to zero starting January 1, 2010.
How can I do this and can I somehow keep last years info. Great app, it does what I want it to do.
